Temporary Store Operative – Sofa Retailer
Location: Slough

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71ph 

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Temporary Store Operative to support a busy sofa retailer in Slough for a one-day assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and can work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the movement and handling of sofas and furniture arounrwd the store.
• Supporting with deliveries, unloading stock, and replenishing the showroom.
• Ensuring the store remains clean, tidy, and well-presented.
• Assisting customers and store colleagues where required.
• Following all health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices.
• Carrying out general store duties as instructed by the management team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous warehouse, retail, or store operative experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to help.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
